Promote a Winning Team Spirit
Great teams are built for one purpose: compete to win. Our team is built for that purpose! Winning teams have great talent, great strategies and great camaraderie. As a result we are successful even though we’re in a highly competitive environment. The evidence is all around us! It’s not blind luck that we’ve been on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing List six straight years, the Corridor Business Journal’s Coolest Places to Work list 3 straight years, and that we keep outgrowing our facilities. It’s a compilation of hard work, strategic planning, sharing of the vision, learning new skills, and motivating each other to keep pushing.
A list for Clickstoppers to remember:
- You are here because there was a need for you! It sounds simple, but you filled a position where we had a gap. Ideally you’ve done far more than fill that gap! You’ve learned more, produced more, and grown in new ways resulting in new opportunities for you and others.
- You were chosen because of your uniqueness: your talent, skills, experience, drive and your personality. Take pride in knowing you work for a great company that expects even greater things of itself and of you!
- You were hired because we believed that you are a potential rock star! Bring it!
Being A Great Team Player
We love the Proverb, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” We sharpen each other by embracing the idea that we should never stop learning. We learn from each other in many ways. Sometimes we learn new skills. Sometimes we learn how to be a better leader – or a better follower. Sometimes we learn how to be a better friend. Great teams know that the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts!
In the book, Secrets of the World Class, there is a quote by Charles Kettering (Page 76, Secret #18) that says, “High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.” Think about the people around you: do they have high expectations for the team? Would they have that opinion of you? If the answer is anything other than “yes,” it is your responsibility to change that!
Being a great teammate isn’t easy. It might sacrificing short term comfort for long term benefit, putting out incredible effort, adapting to best serve the team’s needs, and staying enthusiastic and confident that the goals will be met.
This is Clickstop’s challenge to you. We look forward to competing alongside each and every one of you!
We’re always looking for talented people who passionately live out our core values.
