The position of Part-Time Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting our warehouse team with daily shipping tasks for multiple brands at our Bing Miller Lane location.

Shipping Responsibilities include:
• Picking products based upon picking ticket information.
• Packing orders carefully to minimize the occurrences of breakage or damages.
• Quality assurance to verify the right products are shipped to the right customers.
• Using critical thinking to ensure that each box is shipped in the most cost effective manner.
• Entering the weight and box specifications into the shipping software to create shipping labels.
• Assisting the sales and service team with shipping or product inquiries.
• Working as part of the warehouse team to create a safe and fun work environment.
• Unloading packages when a vendor shipment is received and putting away the products in their assigned bin location.
• Offering suggestions or ideas for process improvement to assist with increasing efficiencies and operational productivity.

Desired Qualifications:
• Prior shipping, receiving or warehouse experience is desirable but not required.
• Must be hard working, reliable and dependable. We are looking for a team player with the willingness to do whatever is asked of them.
• An ideal candidate will be conscientious, have strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast paced work environment.
• A candidate who wants to have fun and possesses the desire to learn and take on additional responsibility will be the most likely to experience long-term success.

Hours:
• The job will initially consist of 15-20 hours per week, but could evolve into a full time position as our business grows.
• Tentative schedule:
o 8 AM – 5 PM on Mondays.
o 3-4 hour shifts twice a week, depending on candidates’ availability and the needs of our warehouse team. These shifts would most likely occur during the afternoon hours.
