Q3 Expect Greatness in Yourself and Inspire it in Others Winner: Amy Hummel

Let’s continue with our Core Value winner series, and check out what our Expect Greatness in Yourself and Inspire it in Others winner for Q3 of 2017, Amy Hummel, had to say about this award!

Tell me about opportunity at Clickstop.

Amy: Clickstoppers are able to drive their own career here. I was hired as a photographer, now I have been creating videos for 6 years. It’s the direction I want to go in, so I focus on excelling and taking it to new levels. Very cool!

What is your favorite part about working at Clickstop?

Amy: I get to come to work and absorb myself in video creation. From pre-production, all the way to the post production edits, that is my life at Clickstop and I love it. I get to entertain the masses.

How do you relate to the core value: Expect Greatness in Yourself and Inspire it in Others?

Amy: I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a perfectionist – but other people in my life might say that I am. I just set really high standards for myself, and do not take on projects that do not meet those high standards. I expect myself to do better, think of something different, or reach a little bit further than before. What is the point if you are not challenging yourself and just doing the same things every day? If I can continue to challenge myself, I will continue to grow.

What advice do you give to others who want to embrace this core value?

Amy: Find your groove and just go with it. I am self aware. I know what I am good at and make sure to give those things my complete attention, so I can learn as much as possible about the things I care about. When something is outside of my area of expertise, I am not afraid to go to someone who is stronger in that area, so I can keep my focus. So really, it’s about finding what you love to do, getting after it, doing your best, and hitting your own goals. You never know who is watching or who will be inspired, but if you just do your best, you don’t have to worry about anything else.

What are your major goals at Clickstop? How are you going to make it happen?

Amy: My goal is to keep learning about video production and really figuring out my own unique production style that can carry through all aspects of my life. Through taking classes, challenging myself, and thinking of new ways to create video content – my goals can easily be attained.
