Life is crazy. One minute you are living your normal day-to-day life. You get up, shower, eat some breakfast, and you are off to work.  The next minute you are celebrating a big event, or making a big move, going on vacation, or maybe just spending the day relaxing. At Clickstop, we want every employee, and each family member of our employees, to feel secure in the knowledge that life happens. We want our employees to work hard and play hard at Clickstop and at home. That is why one of our core values is Make Time for Fun & Family.

In our company history, we have made this core value a showcase of our company culture. And it is just as important today as it has ever been. At Clickstop, we currently have 6 expecting moms! SIX!!! We also have 2 gentlemen that have wives that are expecting. And there are two ladies out on maternity leave at the moment. Whew… LOTS OF BABIES! So we wanted to ask the expecting moms of Clickstop about Make Time for Fun & Family.

Clickstop's Expecting Moms
From left to right… Rachel, Tammy, Bri, Sarah, and Sara are all expecting! And they look beautiful!

What are you most excited for?

“March 8th! We will be finding out if we are having a girl or a boy. And I am excited to see if the baby will have pretty blue eyes like Will.” -Tammy

“I am excited to finally meet the little one I’ve been caring for; for the new frontier of parenthood.” -Sara A.

“I am excited to find if our new baby is a boy or girl in June. Also sibling bonding (and rivalry!).” -Sarah W.

“My hubby to be a dad!” -Bri

“I’m most excited about seeing the beginning of the bond my son and the new baby will start creating for many, many years to come. I’m also excited to find out the gender of baby #2. Lastly, I’m excited to experience motherhood again, in probably a more relaxed state of mind since it’s my 2nd go around and I know a little bit more of what to expect.” – Sarah M.

“Baby snuggles! And seeing how my son interacts with his new baby brother or sister.” – Rachel

How does Clickstop help support you and your family?

“I can make time for my baby appointments without worrying about missing work.” – Tammy

“Clickstop is amazing and generous with maternity (and paternity) leave. My husband and I are grateful to belong with such a great group of people who understand the importance of family and work-life balance. There are several gentlemen here who were so amazing during icy days this winter who would escort me to and from my car
so I wouldn’t slip on the ice. That’s just amazing!” – Sara A.

“Tim and Nicole Guenther are very generous to our Clickstoppers through our maternity and paternity leave. To me, this is the greatest support of all – the gift of time. I’ve also received countless words of inspiration from team members throughout the company on being a successful parent.” – Sarah W.

“By allowing us to make family a priority, and by giving us so much maternity leave!” – Bri

“The new benefit of 10 weeks paid maternity leave shows Clickstop’s commitment to supporting working moms during this time in their lives. Clickstop also does a good job at allowing new moms to check-out from work while they are on maternity leave so we can focus on raising a newborn.” – Sarah M.

“I am able to work altered hours in order to pick my son up from daycare on time. I am also lucky enough to be able to make up any missed time when I need to take my child (or myself) to numerous Well Child and Prenatal doctor visits.” – Rachel

What does the core value Make Time for Fun and Family mean to you?

“The opportunity to have weekends and holidays off with my family. Work doesn’t come home with us, it stays at work.” – Tammy

“Balance. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day. This core value continues to remind me that taking a break to make time to have fun with the people you love is important, and a needed part of life. I am grateful that Clickstop recognizes and promotes this core value every day.” – Sara A.

“That is simple: happiness! I feel fortunate to work at a company that encourages a healthy balance between my personal and professional life. Each person is empowered to fully invest in their life outside of work and many of our Clickstoppers take full advantage of it.” – Sarah W.

“It means that I get to come to work and put in 200% effort and then… then I get to go home to my family and leave my work at work. Clickstop make me a better person outside of work, and when I am happier outside of work, I am happier and way more productive at Clickstop.” – Bri

“To me, this means that we have a culture where people work hard every day so they have the ability to take breaks and have fun or have flexibility to attend to their family’s needs as they pop up. It also shows me the importance we place on having balance in life, and not feeling like your work-life and home-life
have to be kept separate because we all know that’s not how life works.” – Sarah M.

“It means that I can leave work to do what I need to do for my family without feeling guilty or feeling that others might be judging or questioning my work ethic/dedication.” – Rachel

Make time for Fun & Family is huge for everyone in the company.

When an employee has a big event in their life, we like to celebrate with them. Weddings, birthdays, babies… we love that employees share their lives with each other and we just want to help spread the joy and love they feel. So, to welcome the new babies, we throw a Baby Palooza! The babies and parents come in for a visit, show off the cute bundles, (we somehow manage to avoid a baby-tug-of-war, though Tammy K. is a known baby hog, and we love her for it.) and celebrate with cake and cookies.

Our latest celebration was with Ashley and Erika. Check out the highlights below!

Congratulations to all of our new and expecting parents.
