Sharyl is Achieving great Results with Enthusiasm

The person who wins the enthusiastic award cares intensely about the success of Clickstop and inspires greatness in others with their own expectation of excellence.

The Recognition & Results

Sharyl cares deeply about winning as a team and celebrating our accomplishments! She holds herself accountable to great results, believes in and is excited for the future of Clickstop! Her deep care for those she works with comes out when she talks about how she doesn’t work for a company, she works with her family! If you were to come onto the MFG floor you may hear a “whoop, whoop, great job team!” She has also been known to send a handwritten note down the belt to encourage the packing team and let them know they are doing a great job.

She wants to win and inspires others with her high expectations. The ownership that she has shown in creating an efficient process to produce wheel nets is just one example of her high expectations. She sought the help of team members and adjusted until she came up with the right fit!

Sharyl loves the people, the job, and the Company. When given the chance, she will give you a heartfelt explanation as to why Clickstop means so much to her. That love goes into each stitch that is sewn. From the tie downs, to wheel nets, and the help she provides in cargo nets when needed.

Way to go Sharyl!

The interview

What is your role at Clickstop?
Sewing on the 1″ & 2″ line, wheel nets. I also help in cargo nets, winding straps, and packing when needed.

How long have you worked here?
6 ½ years

What makes this recognition meaningful to you?
I am blessed to be a nominee in any of the core traits but this one rocks. I love to get excited when I/we accomplish something big. MFG has accepted a lot of challenges this past year and it is amazing to see how everyone has worked extra hard to keep up with them. I LOVE the work I do and the people I work with (Clickstop).

What is your most meaningful accomplishment from this past quarter?
wheel nets Wheel nets WHEEL NETS… This project has been ongoing for a while. Getting the process to be exact with efficiency has been trying but with help from a few Clickstoppers the process is much better. Time has been cut immensely and the steps let me continue from start to finish without clocking in and out after each step.

What is one area you are seeking growth? What difference will it make?
Cargo nets. I’m usually in this area when I’m needed but would love to be a permanent person to rely on. Giving this area my time would give me a sense of meaning by furthering my knowledge in cargo nets with cutting, lay outs, and sewing. I love the challenge of the big nets. Working with Jamie Noe, April Kress, and Alana Hromidko is always a pleasure. Having another person would add immensely to this area.

How have others supported your growth while at Clickstop?
The support, encouragement and help of my team has been great! Knowing I am responsible to drive my own learning, and having Rod and Jenn to lean on for support, has been a big part of my growth.

Whether you’re working from home or onsite, what has been your biggest challenge navigating a new work environment? How have you sought to overcome that challenge?
Navigating social distancing and wearing a mask everyday is a challenge for us all. We know what is right for us so we just do it and hopefully things will get better. We miss the high fives (now with the elbows), and seeing ones beautiful face.

Do you dance when no one is looking?
I love to dance so I don’t care who’s looking.

You’re in the circus, would you rather be the person with their head inside the lion’s mouth or get shot out of the cannon?
Neither, I’m not a circus 🎪 person. I would rather go to a zoo.

Would you rather be able to breathe underwater or have the agility of a cat?
Breath underwater so I could see the Coral Reef without the breathing apparatus stuff.

What’s something you get wrong almost every time you do it?
Calling my kids by their name without going through all of them.
