Adam Keeps an Eye on Safety

Creating a safe work environment is the responsibility of all team members. Our teams have worked to define safe practices, but the rules alone aren’t enough. Disciplined and aware team members operating in alignment with the procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement create the safe environment we’re seeking.

Adam Smith is one team member who routinely approaches his work in this manner. His team members took time to share the impact of his work this past quarter.

  • Adam is the first person to call you out on not wearing safety glasses or steel toes but does it in a kind and funny way! Adam is a hard worker and valuable employee. He not only keeps himself safe but keeps the people around him safe as well by being an advocate!
  • He is always, I mean always, making sure we are safe around manufacturing by gently reminding us to wear safety glasses, shoes, and other gear. We can keep working as a team and not have to worry we aren’t safe.
  • Adam is consistently promoting safety within manufacturing. He has no fear in letting people know when they are not wearing their safety glasses or steel toe shoes. Adam also will step up and help lift heavy objects when he sees someone struggling or knows it should be a two-person lift. He also makes sure he is following all safety measures with a smile on his face!! (Well behind the mask is a smile!), Adam cares about his coworkers’ safety everyday which leads us to getting quality product out the door, on time, with no injuries!

We are pleased to recognize Adam as our Q3 ‘Safety’ award winner. Well done, Adam!

Manufacturing Associate

How long have you worked at Clickstop?
2 years this past September

Can I choose both? They both sound exhilarating!  But if I absolutely had to choose, I would take the lion.

Give it to my mom. She has her pilot’s license and would be a much better flier than I would.

Drinking out of the garden hose and playing whiffle ball and street hockey with friends/neighbor kids.

Hunt and guide hunts

What would be the best thing about not having a sense of smell?
Not having to smell BO or the gross smell of sunscreen/lotion
