The Interview

What is your role at Clickstop?

LTL and Receiving/Inventory Control Team Leader

How long have you worked at Clickstop?

2 years

How did you feel upon being recognized for this award?

I was very shocked when I heard my name, even though Tim was pointing right at me.

What do you believe has led up to this recognition?

I consider myself a work horse. I take on everything I can and typically do a very good job in anything that I do. I am very quick to adapt to any changes or curveballs that are thrown my way. I am a go-to person for everyone in the warehouse along with many other teams; Purchasing, Sales and Service, Clean Laundry, Finance, etc.

Have you had struggles within the traits that make up this award?  If so, what have they been and how did you overcome them?

There are times when our workload is overwhelming and you get frustrated, but that is when you get after it, believe in your team members and get the work done.

Why are the traits embodied by this award important to the success of Clickstop?

If everyone in the company went above and beyond in their role, there would be no limit for this company.

What brought you here?

My truck most days…. but honestly the culture here is great. We are like one big family.

What keeps you at here?

Flexibility and freedom; there are not many places that give you the flexibility for your personal life as Clickstop. We can come into work and come up with ideas for how to improve our work flow and processes without being questioned or turned down.

Why should others want to work at Clickstop?

Why not?! Join a fun family and enjoy the work you do every day.

What is one thing you loved as a child that today’s kids would know nothing about?

Going outside all day long without adult supervision!

Do you a nickname(s)? If so, what is it? Why is it your nickname?

Depends on who you ask: most days it is Beefcake (thank you Adam Shouse), but lately Cody Smith has adapted that to Ground Beefcake (due to the lack of working out lately)

What is your favorite activity that you like to do with your family?

Boating/Jet skiing on the Mississippi River.
