Let’s check in with more of our Q1 Core Value winners! Trisha Young received the award for Promote a Winning Team Spirit, and had a few things she wanted to share about this recognition.
Tell me about opportunity at Clickstop.
Trisha: The sky is the limit really. I have been very blessed to learn a lot in my first six months on the job at Clickstop! I think learning is the greatest opportunity that we can have. Clickstop encourages us to challenge ourselves and think outside of the box. Failure here only comes when you don’t let yourself try.
What is your favorite part about working at Clickstop?
Trisha: The people. I know this sounds a little cliche but I feel very blessed to work for a company that has such high expectations for the people they hire. The expectation for “Communicating Openly with Confidence and Respect” is an expectation that Tim holds for himself and passes on to everyone that works for him. How can you not feel blessed by that?
How do you relate to the core value: Promote a Winning Team Spirit?
Trisha: Coming to this company was a breath of fresh air for me. I have personally faced struggles that could have held me down, but my faith brought me (and continues to bring me) through those things. When you face big things in your life, you learn to appreciate the blessings, big and small, that are all around you. “Promoting a Winning Team Spirit” means looking for the good and encouraging others to do the same. I feel incredibly blessed to work for a company that allows us to take the time to do those things! Phil, Tim, and the whole Marketing team give me opportunities to live this out everyday. Any one of the individuals on my team could have been chosen for this award.
What advice do you give to others who want to embrace this core value?
Trisha: Look for the good. When you face a trial there is always good that can come out of it. Learn to let the tough things grow you. Tough things that are faced as a team can make or break the trust and connection of the group. It only takes one person to steer the challenge in a positive direction. Be determined to be that person. Challenge me to keep striving for this as well.
What are your major goals at Clickstop? How are you going to make it happen?
Trisha: I hope to continue to learn and grow in my position on the team. I want to inspire others to continue to work hard and be blessed by the wonderful work atmosphere we have here at Clickstop. These things happen by focusing on them everyday. My plan is to challenge myself to be intentional to learn and grow in something every day.
