Responsible and Reliable
In Q1, we had two outstanding individuals who were recognized for our Responsible Award. The first is Scott Keeling of our Technology Team, who has been at Clickstop for ten years.
Much of Scott’s work happens behind the scenes, making sure that hardware and connectivity are functioning properly for Clickstoppers. In addition, he has informally taken on:
- The development of team members
- Identifying opportunities to improve and enhance our technology systems
- Setting up new and managing existing stores for our Clean Laundry brand.
Scott’s impact extends well beyond what’s expected in his role and the shared expectations of all Clickstoppers.
His level of ownership is high, and as an informal leader who is focused on driving growth in himself and the business, he is making a tremendous impact.
A perfect example of his level of ownership was on the day of our Rockstar Reveal, a quarterly recognition event, Scott had just landed at the airport. He and his team member had traveled to help set up the technology infrastructure at our new distribution center in South Carolina. Instead of heading home to rest from his whirlwind trip, he drove to Clickstop in time for the event and checked in to make sure the technology was running smoothly.
Multiple of his nominators noted his can-do attitude and unwillingness to accept excuses. He’s someone that is reliable to challenge the status quo of processes and performance. He has responsibly stepped into a space that needed leadership, organization, and innovation, and is transforming results, self, and others.
