Q2 Courageous Award: Leslie Lowdermilk

The Courage to Adapt

Last quarter, Leslie Lowdermilk on our Purchasing team embraced constructive feedback and used it to create an impact.

When opportunities to improve relationships and expectation-setting with our vendors were identified, Leslie was open to feedback that directly impacted the work she did and how she did it.

She is skilled in her role of negotiating prices but acted on the feedback that she could provide more accountability with our vendors. Leslie’s new approach is to use Clickstop’s core values to guide her vendor relationships. The ultimate goal is that by aligning our values with our vendors, we will be able to improve our brand promise and fulfill our customers’ needs.

In a recent meeting with a vendor, Leslie came to the conversation prepared with areas they needed to improve and was clear and respectful in her message. In other vendor communication, she’s ensured all key stakeholders are involved and consistently updated, while also maintaining a decisive approach that is necessary to continue moving us forward.

Leslie embraced the feedback, tactfully asked questions, and took action while owning the result.

The impact that had on Clickstop is why she is our Q2 Courageous Award winner.

Congratulations, Leslie!
