Q3 Opportunistic Co-Award Winner: Marissa Bunce

Opportunity is all around us and with it comes growth.

Our second Q3 Opportunistic Co-Award Winner has continued to take advantage of moments big and small here at Clickstop. Her peers admire her drive to learn and improve herself so she can make a bigger impact on her team and the organization. That willingness to adapt, collaborate, and face challenges head-on is why Marissa Bunce has been recognized for this award!

Marissa’s hunger for growth has been a contributor to her success at Clickstop. As with many of our Clickstoppers, she credits her coworkers for helping her in that pursuit.

My teammates have always been willing to teach each other skills or tactics. They also aren’t shy to have a hard conversation which leads to growth. My manager, Krystal, is also someone we can count on to push us outside of our comfort zone, she is fantastic at asking the right questions and driving you to do the best work.” – Marissa

Marissa’s eagerness has inspired others in the organization as well. “I have learned a lot about the way we work and how to be an effective employee by observing her and I know I’m not the only one,” says her nominator. “This has a positive ripple effect on the business and the people in it.”

Growth can be an uncomfortable experience. It pushes us outside the familiar and challenges us to change our ways. Marissa is no stranger to that feeling. What area is she currently focused on growing within? “Having the difficult conversations,” she says. “I often shy away from the topic to just progress the work, but I’ve realized that I was only slowing the growth of the company and everyone in it.”

Marissa’s passion for her job and her growth mindset continue to drive great results for the company. So much so, that since receiving her award just over a month ago, she’s been promoted to Brand Director for our Clean Laundry brand! We are excited to see the impact she’ll make as she identifies opportunities in her new role!
