Q4 Decisive Award Winner: Rachel Neve

Decisive: The ability to make decisions quickly and firmly

When opportunities arise, each of us has two options: stick with the current plan or act on what we see. And, even if we choose to act, it’s easy to spend a lot of time debating what to do next.

In Q4, while Rachel Neve was going about her day as a Creative Marketing Strategist, she noticed an opportunity. There was a chance to create an even better customer experience. As her award nominator noted, “Rachel did what was right, not what was easiest for her, and all with a can-do attitude.”

She recognized the opportunity, acted like an owner, and lived out our values. Her impact was felt by her teammates, as well as by our customers. Her quick and impactful actions resulted in Rachel being named Clickstop’s Q4 Decisive Award Winner!

The Serious Stuff

What accomplishment are you most proud of in 2021?

The one that sticks out the most (probably because it is the most recent) is getting a new tradeshow setup designed and in action before 2022 tradeshow season kicked off. We have talked for years about upping our tradeshow display game. With other priorities and a pandemic, we made do with what we had. I have worked very hard since the launching of the new USCC logo (back in 2016) to create a modern, professional, and consistent brand image. Our booths just weren’t reflecting that so it was time! I knew I needed to get it done before 2022 so I dug my heels in, sourced, and designed an all-new setup that we can proudly showcase across the country.

What is one area where you have been seeking growth and how have you been taking action on it?

Delegation and prioritization. I have a hard time letting go of work, especially when it comes to the brand image. I’m trying to be better at delegating work so that I can focus my time on high-impact projects. I am a bit of a taskmaster and love hacking away at a to-do list; nothing gives me more pleasure! But I must continually tell myself that I do not need to do EVERYTHING. I’m a work in progress but getting better.

Who inspires you to be the best version of yourself?

This will probably send a wave of chuckles through the readers, but Jess Kind from Peloton! She is my positive energy hero. I typically stick with her running classes. She spreads good vibes and positivity, and I am usually smiling or laughing through 70% of my run.

What advice do you have for new Clickstoppers seeking to make an impact?

If there is something you want to do, take action! Talk to your manager. More times than not, you’ll see that the opportunities are endless. You just have to seek them out.
