- Johnny Bench, Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Catcher
Make It Happen
Now that you have thought big and have a lofty goal to pursue, the next step is taking action. Prepare yourself by exhibiting these behaviors: persistence, focus, initiative and a desire to learn. These are the key pieces you’ll need to make your big idea a reality.
But that isn’t the whole story. You’ll need to lean on the other core values, too! Expect Greatness, Communicate Openly, Be Adventurous. There you’ll find the drive, determination and guts that it’s going to take to succeed.
Nothing can add more power to your life than concentrating all your energies on a limited set of targets."

Remember that it’s not going to be easy. You might fail, falter and even lose confidence along the way. The pursuit of a lofty goal or dream may take its toll. But with every bump, bruise, scrape, and tear that you shed, you will have gained knowledge, experience and fortitude to continue making you stronger and better.
Find a mentor – someone who you respect, admire and trust to help guide you along the way. Don’t worry about paying your mentor back. Instead, focus on paying it forward because you most certainly will have the opportunity to.
