Leilani Improved Execution Through Great Communication

Communicating well begins with listening well. This takes humility and willingness to be wrong while you seek what is right. There’s also a helpfulness present in great communication that seeks to respectfully include the perspective of others to utilize their experience and intellect. It helps to create camaraderie and improves the decision making leading to greater effectiveness.  In Q4 of 2020, Leilani O’Donnell did this exceptionally well.

Bringing the Team Together

For some time now, Leilani has been responsible for providing sales training to new hires on the US Cargo Control team. This past year, she rebuilt the whole training manual to improve the quality of training and speed of impact for her team members.

In Q4, she assisted with the onboarding of three new hires in addition to managing the daily workload in a role which she was already supporting both the Sales and Service team. Her display of ownership shown through in her communication around what she was observing and in leveraging the strengths of those around her to improve execution around the team.

Leilani has done a great job bringing the Sales and Service Team together. Her transition to the Service side of things has been great. She has set a nice example to the rest of the team of embracing and driving change that improves execution of US Cargo Control’s brand promise

We are pleased to recognize Leilani as our Q4 Communicate award winner. Well done, Leilani!
