Sewing
- Reading work orders and selecting appropriate materials.
- Adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Learning transferrable skills like machining and building.
Packing
- Staying on your feet for extended periods.
- Understanding work orders and packaging requirements.
- Lifting up to 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
Cut and Wind Stations
- Standing for extended periods.
- Understanding work orders
- Cutting and winding products for customer orders.
Cargo Nets, Nylon Slings, Chain Slings
- Typically for candidates over the age of 18.
- These roles often lead to opportunities for other roles in the organization.
- Creating custom US Cargo Control products for customer orders.
Small Packaging (aka Small Pack)
- Meeting our brand promise by ensuring customers get exactly what they ordered, right when they need it.
- Selecting the correct items and packaging them with care (aka picking and packing).
- Organizing products on the right pallets.
- Getting products ready for delivery to Amazon warehouses.
- Maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.
Receiving and Inventory
- Unloading trucks, verifying orders, and checking inventory.
- Ensuring everything is organized and in the right place in our warehouse.
- Maintaining accurate quantities of our products/inventory by cycle counting.
LTL (Less than Truckload)
- Completing responsibilities similar to Small Pack, but with more substantial orders.
- Loading trucks efficiently for orderly customer delivery.
- Communicating with carriers for timely pickups.
