A person who wins the strategic award understands that the ripple effect of decisions made in our work is critical to making strategy come to life. Further, understanding our market, customers and how performance in a role directly impacts them is at the core of a customer-first mindset and how we define strategic behaviors.

The interview
What is your role at Clickstop?
Director of Ecommerce
How long have you worked here?
10 Years
What makes this recognition meaningful to you?
This recognition is meaningful to me because it’s paired with closing the chapter of site transitions for Clickstop that has consumed my work for the last 4+ years. It’s very rewarding to close this chapter and open up a new chapter, filled with lots of growth initiative
What is your most meaningful accomplishment from this past quarter?
Successfully launching USCargoControl on Shopify.
What is one area you are seeking growth? What difference will it make?
I’m seeking growth in the e-commerce space. I’ve spent a good chunk of my time recreating our website and front-end processes in different platforms as we moved from SiteBuilder to SCA to Shopify, so I am seeking growth in more proactive marketing strategies, fully utilizing the tools we have to understand our customers better and making sure we provide customers not only what they expect but provide a buying experience far exceeding their expectations.
How have others supported your growth while at Clickstop?
Many, many people have helped support my growth at Clickstop. The biggest takeaway I have on “how” others have supported my growth roles up to trust and ownership. Early on in my career, we didn’t always know what was going to work or how to get started. Instead of having a roadmap on what needed to be done, I was given the trust and ownership to go figure it out and make it happen. This instilled critical thinking and fail fast tactics in me that I feel have been two critical factors in my personal success and fulfillment at Clickstop.
Whether you’re working from home or onsite, what has been your biggest challenge navigating a new work environment? How have you sought to overcome that challenge?
The obvious challenge has been staying connected with people on a personal level. It’s easier for conversations to pop up throughout the day when you’re working in the same space. Some ways I’ve sought to overcome this is to schedule time with others, whether that’s to go grab lunch or to just chat on what’s going on in your life. It may feel weird at first to have to schedule personal talk, but it gets more comfortable and natural the more you do it.
Do you dance when no one is looking?
Every single day! It’s one of our favorite pastime activities at our house.
What is your favorite activity that you do with your family?
In the winter we enjoy playing charades as a family, when it’s nice out we enjoy golfing together.
What is one thing you loved as a child that today’s kids would know nothing about (ex. Walkman, Spirograph, Cabbage Patch Kids, etc.)?
Re-creating American Gladiators on our swing set in our yard.
When things break, do you prefer to fix them or replace them?
I prefer to tell my husband something broke and have him fix it 🙂
