Getting to Know Our 2024 Summer Interns

The Clickstop Internship: A Dynamic Partnership

At Clickstop, we believe internships are more than just temporary assignments. We see them as an opportunity to supplement our team’s work while also cultivating the potential for ongoing engagement beyond the internship period. Our goal is to provide a high-quality experience, ensuring interns walk away understanding what it truly means to be an engaged employee.

This summer, we are thrilled to welcome three talented interns to our team: Sophia Broers, Haley Kloss, and Alec Dominguez. Through their unique perspectives and diverse skills, we’re excited to see their impact. Let’s get to know a bit more about each of them!

What inspired you to apply for an internship at Clickstop?

I applied for an internship at Clickstop because I wanted to intern at a company with lots of design opportunities. Since Clickstop has five different brands with five different voices and identities, Clickstop was the perfect place to give me invaluable opportunities and experiences!

What is one surprising thing you’ve learned so far?

The most surprising thing I’ve learned so far as a Clickstop intern is how integral the culture is to the success of the company. Clickstop employees are hired and trained specifically to encompass and grow in the values at the company’s core. Not only are these values highlighted, but they are also revealed over and over again through interactions with Clickstop employees. I have never had so many people encourage me to reach out with questions or when in need of support. Clickstop doesn’t just talk the talk – they walk the walk, and it’s beautiful.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have any superpower, it would be to fly. Even though there are probably much cooler superpowers out there, I have always craved the freedom of being able to fly! I want to have the power to get anywhere I want to go whenever I please and be able to see close-up the artwork of the sky and the ground from so far above. If I wasn’t a human, I would be a bird for sure!

Which Clickstop core value resonates most with you and why?

The Clickstop value that resonates with me the most is “Be adventurous, embrace and drive change!” This is a value I think I have the opportunity to grow tremendously in during my time here at Clickstop. Change doesn’t always come easy to me, but it is something that this company and its employees are fabulous at adapting to!

One of the biggest reasons that Clickstop is so successful is that it pays attention to what is successful and what isn’t and is quick to make the necessary changes to continue improvement and growth. I think that this is also so valuable to learn for each of our individual lives, beyond work. Both are full of change, and the ability to not only accept but embrace and drive this change for betterment are vital skills in the pursuit of success!

Which Clickstop core value resonates most with you and why?

I really resonate with the value of “Be Adventurous! Embrace & Drive Change.” This value encompasses what I feel are some of the most important parts of life, like taking chances, doing new things, and working to make the world around you better. Living your life by this value can help you to find personal and professional fulfillment, which is why it resonates most with me.
