Celebrating Our 2024 Q4 Core Trait Award Winners!
At Clickstop, our Core Values are the heartbeat of who we are and how we achieve our mission.
Every quarter, we celebrate individuals who embody these values with our Core Trait awards. Each of these individuals has made a lasting impact on their teams, and we’re thrilled to share their stories.
Let’s meet this quarter’s Award winners and see how they bring our values to life.
Communicate: John Spanczak

One nominator shared: “John helped build the Manufacturing leadership team’s confidence in handling difficult conversations, leading with integrity and fostering a values-driven culture.”
Another highlighted his mentorship: “The coaching he provided me illuminated new perspectives and improved the quality of my conversations with my team. John’s commitment to Clickstop’s Code is inspiring.”
Courageous: Terra Fowler
Terra exemplifies courage by addressing leadership challenges with honesty and care. She takes the time to point out areas of improvement while backing her insights with reasoned explanations, helping her team grow and succeed.
A colleague shared: “Terra stepped up today and was very open and honest with her communication with me today. This pushes me to be better and improve myself for the team. By doing so Terra has demonstrated a great amount of courage as well as caring that she has for her team. She backs up her ideas with reasonable explanations which makes it easy to make a decision.”
Curious: Mitch Fekaris

A nominator remarked:
“Now that Mitch has his feet firmly planted with his team in South Carolina, he has been curious and reached out to learn more about purchasing. Mitch reached out to see if I was willing to share knowledge and set a short weekly meeting for us to dive in. He asks lots of questions and really desires to understand how we make decisions. Mitch is eager to learn, quick to dive deeper, and willing to work together on solutions that make Clickstop better.”
Decisive: Daniel Schaaf

One example highlights his leadership:
“Recently Daniel has helped coordinate the schedule for a high volume of containers and he’s been key in deciphering the outbound plan to get products unloaded and ready to be shipped back out the same day with multiple carriers. The most recent one was delivered and on top of that, the Urbana Warehouse was stuffed to the gills, so, we were also coordinating an urgent transfer order to clear space for the inbound blankets. Due to weather events, it took longer than desired to book a truckload carrier but Daniel was flexible through it all and helped identify alternative strategies to get it all taken care of without batting an eye.”
Enthusiastic: Alana Smith

One peer noted:
“Alana has been doing a fantastic job with the Pepper Joe’s website! We have many pages and blogs that provide instructions and advice for all stages of growth and troubleshooting specific issues. I’ve noticed a lot of great changes and updates lately, and it continues to become more informative and user-friendly for our customers. Alana is also very receptive to new ideas and suggestions which makes her great to collaborate with. Thanks for all your hard work!”
Enthusiastic: Carlyn Recker

A colleague shared:
“While I was working on a printer today, I got to hear Carlyn in a phone interview. It was clear that Carlyn was exceptionally genuine and engaged throughout. Even though I couldn’t hear the other person, I could tell she was keeping them connected and involved in the interview, which speaks volumes about her communication skills and ability to foster rapport for Clickstop! I truly enjoy seeing people excel at their craft, and it was evident that Carlyn was doing just that. Her professionalism and authentic approach hopefully made a lasting impression. It was a pleasure witnessing her in action, keep up the great work!”
Impactful: Nick Conrad

One nominator expressed:
“Nick has done a great job filling in as a leader for one of the warehouse teams. He made sure everything was running smoothly during a long period when we were short-handed, making sure that the team was meeting our Brand Promise. He did all of this while still leading his team, directing everyone on his team where they would be needed the most to have the most impact. With a new WMS, this could be a challenge and Nick is doing a great job of looking into issues and fixing them or directing the problem to the correct people to get them fixed.”
Impactful: Adam Shouse

A colleague noted:
“Adam always has something going on that requires close collaboration amongst our operations teams and finding the most efficient and cost-effective way to ship a product. He really excels at proactively sharing information which allows me to stay up to date with what’s needed and allows us to identify cost-saving potential while getting the customer taken care of.”
Opportunistic: Adam Schelin
Adam quickly integrated into his team, earning trust and delivering results seamlessly. His adaptability and proactive approach set him apart.
A nominator remarked:
“You quickly acclimated to the team and communicated what you need and what you are doing very quickly. I often forget you have been here such a short time! As we transitioned you to owning projects, I did not field a single concern from anyone. This tells me that you have built a reputation outside of our team that does not cause any concerns to go into the transition open-minded. From what I am seeing and hearing you have seamlessly jumped into the role without any bumps or issues, which is impressive.”
Responsible: Hailey Anderson

Her team shared:
“Hailey always seeks to understand the needs of a project to ensure she gets all of the photos that are required to convey a product to the best of our abilities. And if we do end up needing any additional shots, she is always quick to get those shots with a positive attitude. I never have to wonder when Hailey is going to get something done or if she is going to fully complete the task – she ALWAYS gets things done on time and produces high-quality work. Her attention to detail is very much appreciated as she sees things about products that I would not see. I don’t work alongside Hailey super often but I have seen glimpses of her eagerness to voice her ideas and opinions with confidence and I love to see it!”
Responsible: Bella Baquero

A nominator said:
“Bella showed great teamwork with three teammates out of the office. When there was a cost-savings opportunity identified, she took the initiative to contact not only her supplier but her teammates’ suppliers as well. The message was received by the suppliers and we were able to save money contributing to Clickstop’s bottom line. Thanks, Bella for being a great teammate and a great Clickstopper.”
Safety Advocate: Jamie Farmer

Her peers praised her:
“Jamie encountered safety incidents on her shift, and with no hesitation started looking for ways to improve the way we work. Jamie takes safety very seriously and provides clarity to the rest of the team when there is a safety concern. She consistently asks questions and seeks to find solutions to ensure the team is always safe. Jamie ensures the team leads and safety team are always aware of incidents and promptly takes action to put solutions in place immediately. Thanks, Jamie, for always putting safety first and providing the entire team with a safe work environment!”
Strategic: Alicia Infante

A colleague shared:
“Alicia is one of the most Strategically minded individuals throughout the company. She lives very comfortably within the world of numbers and data, understanding more of the data side of Clickstop than anyone else onsite at our South Carolina Warehouse. She has been spearheading initiatives, often at the same time, and with a limited team of one other person. She can naturally and smoothly come up with solutions to problems. She can take an existing method of accomplishing a task, refine it, and then implement it to fit the culture and environment of the warehouse. Alicia continues to drive change; often in the shadows with little to no attention on her. Though it may not be easily seen, her impact and strategically minded actions are a large part of the success.”
Each of these winners embodies the values that make Clickstop a remarkable place to work. Their efforts inspire us all to strive for excellence, embrace our values, and make an impact every day. Stay tuned to read the story about our highest honor from last quarter, the Rock Star. We’ll share their story of growth next.
