Brad Droste Holds Himself and Others Accountable to How We Work
Consistency in holding oneself and others accountable to shared principles has a profound effect on the development of trust. These conversations create growth opportunities. Brad holds others accountable, questioning actions inconsistent with our core values, and respectfully provides feedback to others. Peer to peer accountability can be difficult, but Brad willingly steps up to do it. This consistent focus on improving himself and his team results increases the quality of customer service internally and externally.

What is your role at Clickstop?
I am on the USCC Service Team
How long have you worked at Clickstop?
4 years.
What effect has this recognition had upon you?
It gives me confidence that my ideas and opinions are being heard. Live and believe in the code and it will have a positive impact.
What do you believe has led up to this recognition?
I speak openly with honesty and respect. I hold myself and others accountable. I’ve taken on projects or given my feedback on projects others may be working on. I want some of my feedback in Peakon surveys to be talked about with my leaders and I will even provide my name bypassing the anonymity factor so that we can resolve any issues that can be improved upon. In our service meetings, I feel like it has impacted others and is allowing them to speak more openly as well.
What are ways you’ve challenged yourself to live out and grow within the Core Values?
Accountability is important to me. The core values are a proven success. Positive things happen at work and at home living through these values.
How do you ensure your work is aligning with our mission, values, strategies and goals?
Through one on ones, I usually end by asking my manager, “Do you see areas where I need to improve?”, or “Do you have any concerns about how I work and the work I do?” I take all comments good or bad and make them better.

Having the courage to speak out, challenge your comfortability, take risks, and then holding yourself accountable creates positive results.
What brought you to Clickstop?
A need for better work/life balance. Opportunities are here to challenge myself and make a positive impact without sacrificing my family life and events.
What keeps you at Clickstop?
The same thing that brought me here and the genuine, quality people that I am blessed to work with every day.
Why should others want to work at Clickstop?
For all the things that I have talked about. Balance, the people, opportunity, and the ability to make a difference in the success of a great company.
If you had to pick one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely pizza. I can cover all food groups with pizza. It never gets old.
What is the coolest/craziest place you ever been to?
As a teenager, a week-long trip with only adults hiking to the top of the continental divide in Colorado with everything I needed to survive packed in a backpack that weighed under 22 lbs. Everything including food, clothes, cooking supplies, bedding, survival supplies, etc. And a hacky sack and frisbee for fun.
Imagine a perfect vacation. Describe the experience.
Any trip with my family. The best trip we took together was to Colorado where we all picked an activity to do or place, we wanted to visit. It was the best vacation week of my life (hands down). Activities included: Horseback riding, ATV riding, Whitewater rafting, going to the top of Pikes Peak, recognizing the pure beauty and the animals we saw along the way, and just relaxing at the pool.
What’s your worst bug-related story?
Well it’s not really a bug story, it’s a snake story. I had to remove a 5-foot bull snake that was living in my back yard and relocate it without hurting it or it hurting me. This snake was NOT happy with me capturing him. I have a video I took during the process that shows how scared and shaken I was during the experience. But it was a success and my wife and daughters didn’t make us move instead 😊.
What’s something you get wrong almost every time you do it?
I think my wife could answer that one better 😊
