Q1 Communicate & Enthusiastic Awards: Jamie Noe

A Pair of Awards for The Queen

On occasion, there is someone who goes above and beyond and excels in multiple of Clickstop’s core traits in a single quarter. In Q1, Jamie Noe (aka The Cargo Net Queen) on our Manufacturing Team took home two honors, the Communicate and Enthusiastic Awards. Here is what her nominators had to say about Jamie’s impact on Clickstop last quarter.

Communicate

Jamie is executing at a high level within our expectations as Clickstoppers and within her role.

She is highly reliable to keep communication flowing around the needs, opportunities, and successes within Manufacturing and between departments. This has allowed for shifts and teams to work together more effectively and ensure there’s focus on the most important things. Jamie has a lot of pride in the work she does in cargo nets. It is very important to her that not only does the customer get what they want when they need it, but that it is of high quality as well. She knows that these cargo nets have high-profit margins so as long as we have the capacity she wants the customer to continue to get a top-notch quality product.

She’s operating as an informal leader by helping others align with the vision and expectations of the team, roles, and Clickstop.

When she saw the need to make changes to the Core Four ROAR (recognition) program she excelled at communicating the changes to the team and explaining the whys behind the changes. She is very approachable and patient and always makes sure to explain things so that everyone understands. Teams know they can come to her if they have questions and she will have the answers.

When Jamie heard that we would possibly be importing cargo nets, which we had been previously manufacturing, she immediately started asking thoughtful questions to understand the why behind this decision. She made it very clear that as long as we had the capacity, she wished to continue to manufacture them on-site. She created a spec to send to China and we received a sample that Jamie quality controlled. She immediately noticed that the quality didn’t meet our standards. She took photos and notes on all quality concerns and reported back to the buyer.

Enthusiastic

Jamie saw a need to support the integration of new employees onto the Manufacturing team by adding component and assembly training. She then went a step further and worked with urgency to drive a solution. She created a training document with a checklist that gives all new employees a visual representation of what we are manufacturing before the employee even begins getting hands-on experience on the floor. This has improved confidence in new employees and provided the ability to check that what the team is making meets the customer’s needs and expectations.

Her implementation of this training led to an even bigger conversation. The team is now in the process of creating a more thorough and hands-on training program that will involve efficiency, productivity, and product training for new and existing employees in manufacturing.

Jamie is showing up as a leader for her team by taking the time to look around and consider how to support the collective pursuit of excellence in behaviors and results. Jamie was nominated several times by team members within and outside of the Manufacturing department because her impact is leading to the transformation of results, herself, and others.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Jamie!
