From Cosmetology to Manufacturing: Jamie Noe’s Story
From Curious to Courageous.
“I had a baby at home and one on the way and I just didn’t have as much time as I wanted with them,” said Jamie. “I was looking for something that had a vision with opportunities to grow. Once you’re in the cosmetology field, you do the same thing every day.”
Initially timid and unsure, she stepped into the world of manufacturing, a whole new industry for her. However, with a supportive team and a sense of ownership over her work, she began to embrace the opportunities to learn and grow.
“I was focused on my work but at the same time also looking around at what’s next,” said Jamie.
But what took her from simply being curious to courageously seeking information and opportunity?

Understanding the company’s vision and aligning it with her own aspirations sparked something in Jamie. Clickstop’s approach of connecting its mission with the aspirations of its employees empowered Jamie to take ownership of her growth.
Invest in people and they invest in the business.
Supported by the company’s leadership, she pursued Leadership in Manufacturing training at Kirkwood Community College. Recognizing her potential, she was encouraged to step into a role leading the manufacturing of cargo nets. With her skillset and growth mindset, Jamie brought immense value to the team, resulting in growth for Clickstop’s US Cargo Control (USCC) brand.
“I think it took a lot of courage for her to step into the custom cargo net role,” said Jenny Rapp, Manufacturing Production Planner. “We needed someone, but she didn’t have to take that on. It was out of her comfort zone but as it turns out it fits her strengths.”
Jamie’s impact was undeniable. In just two years, USCC sold over 5,300 cargo nets, generating more than $700,000 in revenue. Her leadership has been instrumental in the product’s success. It’s a true team effort, showcasing the power of collaboration across various departments.
“She is the go-to source for all custom cargo net questions and productions,” said Estelle Gudenkauf, USCC Inside Sales Manager, “Her high level of attention to detail and communication has led to the success of our product.”
Looking ahead, Jamie’s journey of growth continues. She plans to shadow Clickstop’s Sales & Service Team to deepen her understanding of their impact on her team and vice versa. Her curiosity and strategic mindset exemplify Clickstop’s mission to create a business that is sustainable, enjoyable, and provides opportunity for those who seek it.
