2018 Q1 Make Time for Fun and Family Winner: Lacy Curtis
And we’re back with another Q1 Core Value winner! This quarter, Lacy Curtis received the award for Make Time for Fun and Family, and had a few things she wanted to share about this recognition:
Tell me about opportunity at Clickstop.
Lacy: You can write your own story here, and it is up to you to do just that! Be engaged and excited, do things you are good at and continue to help support our growing business! I would like to thank Clickstop for honoring me with this award. I am very appreciative of everything this company has brought into my life since I started working here and the opportunities it continues to present to me.
What is your favorite part about working at Clickstop?
Lacy: My team. I love them like family. They motivate me to work harder and they make me laugh! They are a great group of people. Also our customers! They are great people, fun to work with, and I love building relationships with them.
How do you relate to the core value: Make Time for Fun and Family?
Lacy: I like to work hard and have fun. You would not think that this is something that you need to think about and it should happen organically but you need to dedicate yourself to what you are doing in that moment and the people who are counting on you. Be engaged at work and with your family.
What advice do you give to others who want to embrace this core value?
Lacy: Set goals for yourself every week at work, write them down, and hold yourself accountable. Do things that make you nervous and uncomfortable, and when you are with your friends and family put your technology away and spend some time together!
What are your major goals at Clickstop? How are you going to make it happen?
Lacy: This year is about self development for me. My goal is to grow in my current role and support my team. We have a big goal in front of us and we need to be focused on our daily behaviors in order to get to where we want to be. I know we can do it. You can feel the excitement!
