Q2 Responsible Award Winner: Phil Kramer
Being responsible requires taking action and accepting the consequences of their own actions and decisions. These individuals also possess an awareness of how their choices are impacting those around them.
Essentially, if you’ve committed to it, there’s an expectation of follow through, or at the least, a re-negotiating of the commitment.

This quarter’s “Responsible” winner, Phil Kramer, has done just this. Facing a large challenge head on by taking on new responsibilities with our budgeting process.
He took time to critically evaluate past performance and implement changes to improve his work going forward – this has brought much greater value to the teams and departments served!
Phil has also taken ownership of answering and resolving inconsistencies in any budget reporting. According to one peer, “People have relied on Phil all over the organization for accurate information.”

The Interview
What is your role at Clickstop?
Financial Analyst with a focus on bbudgeting/forecasting and expense management.
How long have you worked at Clickstop?
I have worked at Clickstop for 4 Years.
How did you feel upon being recognized for this award?
When I was presented the award, I was really excited to have been nominated by a co-worker(s) for the work that I’m doing. I try and come to work every day to do my best and put out great results, so it is nice to be recognized by your peers for your efforts.
What do you believe has led up to this recognition? (What behaviors have you demonstrated?)
I think that I’m a person that says If I’ll have you a report by a certain date you can count on me to get that to you on time. So being reliable and trustworthy are a couple behaviors I feel led to me receiving this recognition
Have you had struggles within this Core Trait / Safety Expectations? If so, what have they been and how did you overcome them?
For the core trait Responsible the area that I use to struggle with but have learned a lot about since starting here at Clickstop would be reflecting on my past performance. I have learned a lot about how looking back and looking for ways to improve everyday are very valuable for personal growth.
Why is this Core Trait important to the success of Clickstop?
I feel we all need to be responsible and be able to be counted on. If we all can count on each other to bring our “A” games every day and do what you say you are going to do, we are going to be really successful.
What brought you to Clickstop?
Well the first answer is Megan Goebel. She reached out to me about an opening and then after researching the culture and the company that is what ultimately made the decision really an easy one. I had always worked at larger companies in the past and the thought of working at a smaller company where your impact is felt more was really appealing to me.
What keeps you at Clickstop?
The people I get to work with every day and the work I’m doing. I feel I’m making a difference in the work I’m doing, and I feel a sense of accomplishment.
Why should others want to work at Clickstop?
I feel others should work at Clickstop because the people you work with truly care about you and we are all a big family and friends. We are a growing company that has a lot of opportunities and are always changing.
If you had to pick one food to eat for the rest pf your life, what would it be?
If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would probably be Donutland donuts. Wide variety even though you can’t beat the cherry donuts.
What is the coolest/craziest place you ever been to?
Carlsbad Caverns in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
What is your favorite activity that you like to do with your family?
Travel to the beach (Myrtle Beach) and spend time with each other at the beach/mini golfing or go-karting.
