Story of Growth: Trisha Young
A Journey of Growth, Perseverance, and Impact
Trisha Young’s story at Clickstop is one of resilience, learning, and personal transformation. Over her seven years at the company, she’s grown from an eager team member seeking her place to an HR leader making meaningful contributions across the organization. Her journey is a powerful example of how perseverance and self-awareness can lead to extraordinary growth.
Turning Feedback into Fuel
Early in her career at Clickstop, Trisha encountered a pivotal moment of tough feedback during a Code Sheet Reflection. Instead of shying away from it, she chose to see it as a turning point.

This feedback challenged Trisha to change the way she thought about her abilities, and it inspired her to take ownership of her growth. Reflecting on her motivation, she shared a deeply personal reason behind her drive:
“Before coming to Clickstop, I had spent several years raising three boys as a single mom. I wanted so badly to be able to provide for them and knew I was willing to put in the hard work—all I needed was the place that would give me the chance.”
Clickstop became that place. Through her dedication and determination, Trisha took on new challenges, learned from those around her, and steadily grew her confidence and skills.
Adapting to a Bigger Role

“Approaching work with a can-do attitude is something I feel confident in,” she explained. “As much as I fight with imposter syndrome, I feel blessed that I generally believe I can figure it out. I enjoy solving puzzles and putting pieces together to build something that’s stronger and more efficient.”
Her commitment to learning also played a key role in her success. Trisha pursued and earned her SHRM certification, in anticipation of growing her influence and impact. It prepared her to think critically and contribute meaningfully when the opportunity to become an HR Business Partner came calling this fall.
“Even before officially stepping into her new role as HR Business Partner, Trisha took the initiative to complete her SHRM certification, preparing herself for greater responsibility. She didn’t wait for an opportunity to come to her; she sought it out, demonstrated her readiness, and earned the role. This ownership of her personal growth and her desire to take on more responsibility has positioned her to make an even bigger impact at Clickstop.”

Building Trust Through Curiosity
One of Trisha’s greatest strengths is her ability to build trust and strong relationships with others, which has had a profound impact on the teams she supports. She credits her natural curiosity for helping her connect with people on a deeper level.
“I have a high level of trust and confidence that I can reach out to Trisha and we can figure just about anything out together. She asks great questions and seeks to understand before rushing to judgement or decisions. She’s willing to roll up her sleeves and get creative, which I’m a huge fan of. The speed at which she’s grown in the HR space is impressive. The complexity is high, but that didn’t stop her from jumping in with both feet.”

This curiosity and empathy allow Trisha to approach even difficult conversations with an open mind and an objective perspective. She sees conflict not as a barrier but as an opportunity for alignment and growth.
“Conflict comes from misalignment,” Trisha said. “If we can work through why that’s there, we can make an impact together. Remaining objective and giving people a place to know they will hear the truth leads to quicker resolution of issues and can have a balancing effect on teams. That’s my goal: to support finding the balance.”
A Legacy of Growth
Trisha’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of embracing challenges as opportunities. From her early days at Clickstop to her role as an HR leader, she has demonstrated that personal growth is not just about individual success but about making a lasting impact on others.
Her recognition as Clickstop’s Q3 Rock Star is well-deserved, but for Trisha, success isn’t about accolades. It’s about the journey. “Your comfort zone can be a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there,” she shared.
By embracing discomfort, leaning into her strengths, and staying committed to her growth, Trisha has not only transformed her life and those of her three boys but has helped strengthen Clickstop’s culture and teams along the way.
