Promote a Winning Team Spirit
Great teams are built for one purpose — to compete to win.
Our team is built for that purpose. Winning teams have great talent, great strategies, and great camaraderie.
As a result, we are successful even though we’re in a highly competitive environment. The evidence is all around us.
It’s not blind luck that we’ve been on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing List, the Corridor Business Journal’s Coolest Places to Work list, and that we keep outgrowing our facilities.
It’s a compilation of hard work, strategic planning, sharing of the vision, and learning new skills
Being A Great Team Player
We love the Proverb, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
We sharpen each other by embracing the idea that we should never stop learning. We learn from each other in many ways. Sometimes we learn new skills. Sometimes we learn how to be a better leader – or a better follower. Sometimes we learn how to be a better friend.
Great teams know that the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts!
“High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.”
Charles Kettering
Think about the people around you: do they have high expectations for the team? Would they have that opinion of you? If the answer is anything other than “yes,” it is your responsibility to change that!
Being a great teammate isn’t easy. It might mean sacrificing short-term comfort for long-term benefit, putting out incredible effort, adapting to best serve the team’s needs, and staying enthusiastic and confident that the goals will be met.
