Q4 Impactful Award Winner: Sean Waters
Getting amazing amounts of important work done is only meaningful if it is accompanied by:
- A can-do attitude
- A focus on great results rather than blindly following processes
- Reliably performing at a high level
- Responsibly completing work so your team members have what they need
- Taking ownership of what needs to be done and making it happen
At Clickstop, our definition of impactful sets a high bar. And in Q4, our Impactful Winner stepped up to the challenge.
Sean Waters has been at Clickstop for six years, and multiple Clickstoppers recognized his impact on the organization last quarter. Each nomination had a similar theme: he has grown into the ultimate team player.
“Sean not only knocks out his normal day-to-day responsibilities, but he also is willing to take on more and remains enthusiastic about it. I am so happy to have a coworker like him! In addition to his high sales numbers on the CAT Sales team, he willingly takes on more to help the USCC Sales team.” – Nominator
It’s worth noting, Sean has always been a great contributor to his team, but he took it to the next level in Q4! His growth really caught people’s attention…
“Not being courageous and putting himself out there has held Sean back in the past…But you would ever know that in Q4! He made the decision to do what was needed, reached out for feedback, and was eager to learn. Sean explored new opportunities which built relationships and confirmed he is in the right spot to make a large impact.” – Nominator
Part of Clickstop’s mission is to provide opportunity to those who seek it. Sean sought it, stepped up, and his coworkers noticed.
Congratulations to Sean on winning the Q4 Impactful Award! We are excited to see where your can-do attitude takes you in 2022.
Getting to know Sean:
When you look back on Q4, what are you most proud of?
Our USCC Sales & Service team was down a couple of people and I was given the opportunity to help. Being able to work alongside people that I don’t usually get to see or talk to on a regular basis was awesome. The product knowledge came back slowly but knowing that I was able to help in a time of need felt good. But the most meaningful accomplishment was winning my Clickstop fantasy football league.
What does the Clickstop Code mean to you?
The Clickstop Code is like an acronym I had burned into my brain while going through boot camp.
J.J. DID TIE BUCKLE – Justice, Judgement, Dependability, Integrity, Decisiveness, Tact, Initiative, Endurance, Bearing, Unselfishness, Courage, Knowledge, Loyalty, and Enthusiasm.
Our Clickstop Code shares a lot of the same terminology which has been a great tool guiding us to be good humans. I feel that I am a hard worker looking for improvement on a daily (personally and professionally) and the Clickstop Code makes this a lot easier.
How do you want to challenge Clickstop and accomplish in 2022?
Clickstop is a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. We describe this constant change as being fluid.
Since I have been a part of the Clickstop family, we have acquired and dissolved websites, moved from buildings, added onto buildings, teammates changed positions including the leadership team, the list of changes goes on and on.
Change can be difficult to accept, but we must embrace it if we want to stay with today’s market. I challenge Clickstop to never stop changing. When a change would occur I used to say, “If it’s not broken, why fix it?” Now I look forward to the opportunities created from these challenges.
What advice do you have for new Clickstoppers?
Learn as much as possible. Ask all the questions. Meet people outside your department. Expect change. Look for opportunities for growth professionally and for the business. Keep those around you engaged and motivated to better themselves, because they will drive you to be a better you.
